Get the Single Player of Saviors of Uldum FREE with your Preorder

How to get the Saviors of Uldum Single Player FREE with your Preorder is simple. All you have to do is follow the steps below to reap the rewards.

I stumbled across a very hidden promo with Amazon Coins that can get you the complete upcoming Single Player content for Saviors of Uldum for FREE. There are some steps to go through, but every step is clean. Unfortunately, this only applies to people who have not yet preordered. If you’ve been on the fence about whether to preorder or not, read on to see how it works.

This is all done through Amazon Coins, which is Amazon’s currency for paying in their Appstore. Think of it like the Starbucks app (if you’re familiar with that) where you load up your card and then pay with what’s on there to get your beverage of choice. 1 Amazon Coin is equivalent to 1 cent USD, so 100 coins is $1 and 10,000 coins is $100.00.

In order to take advantage of this, you are going to have to have access to the Amazon Appstore, which is exclusively available on the Android platform. If you have an Android phone, this is quite simple. If you don’t, you’ll need to setup an emulator to access it. I did this on my Mac laptop before getting an Android phone.

If you have an Android device… If you have Hearthstone already installed on your phone/tablet from the Google Play store, you’ll need to delete it first. Then download the Amazon Appstore App. Open it, and install Hearthstone from there. This version of Hearthstone allows you to pay for all in-game transactions using Amazon Coins.

If you don’t have an Android device… Downloading an emulator is simpler than you think. Big Nox has a free download that’s clean and can be used on either Mac or PC. After you have it downloaded and setup, download the Amazon Appstore App. Open it, and install Hearthstone from there.

Now, you’ll need to purchase your Amazon Coins to be able to purchase the preorder. Amazon gives you a discount on amount of Coins you get upfront. So you can (as of this writing) purchase 10,000 coins ($100 value) for only $82 USD. Purchase the Amazon Coins, and there’s only one step left to get the maximum value.

Go into the Hearthstone app on your installed Android device/emulator, and go to the Shop. Choose the $80 Mega Bundle for Saviors of Uldum, and when you tap “Buy,” you should see a prompt come up showing your Amazon Coins balance. Purchase, and you’ll still have 2000 Amazon Coins waiting for you when the Single Player releases in September.

Image shows 50 pack prepurchase cause I already bought the 80 pack bundle. 🙂

If you want to go ALL in, you can purchase 2 bundles of 2,500 Amazon Coins for $21 each to get the 50 pack bundle also and save $8 in the process–almost enough to get an extra 7 packs for FREE!

By the way, these savings can also carry over to any additional pack purchases that you make after Saviors of Uldum releases! If you purchase 10,000 coins at a time, you can purchase 2 40-pack bundles for 4,999 coins each. The credit costs you $82 instead of the $100 you’d be spending in-game, so you’re saving $18 off every 80 packs you purchase. So on the release date, if you have the itch to buy more packs, get your Amazon Coins first so that you can save.

But Andrew, that only gets me to $18 off the single player. I thought you said I got the single player for free??? CLICKBAIT FOR SHAME.

Hold up there. If paying a couple more bucks really is too much, there’s a simple path to making up that remaining $1.99. If you’ve downloaded the Amazon Appstore app onto your device (or emulator), you’ll notice there’s a bouncing box in the lower right-hand corner of your home screen each day. This is a FREE gift of Coins that can range from 2 to 200.

This whole action takes all of 15 seconds with a newer phone. And if you just fit that into your daily routines, you’ll make up the difference in no time. I personally do this every morning to kick off my daily login habits.

That’s it! This is the process I used for preordering and saving some money to get ready for the latest Hearthstone expansion. Follow me on Twitter at @andrewisliving and subscribe to The Happy Hearthstone podcast to get more updates about Hearthstone.
